Mom Style: Rockin’ The Pre-School Drop-off

January 21, 2013

in Fashion, White Plum Boutique

Since having my second child and still living in the “doughy state” of my body, I’m still trying to find things that look cute to wear and but are also stylishly appropriate for suburbia. I  have to take into consideration things like spit-up and remnants of baby food which seem to be a permanent staple with my wardrobe.

Casual Chic

This outfit is an ideal way to look cute and put together, yet still appropriate for the preschool drop off. The sweater is loose around the mid section but not too baggy and the bright colored jeans give a nice fun pop of color. And since I still have a 6 month old pulling at my jewelry, chandelier earrings aren’t an option, these Kate Spade inspired earrings in our store are the perfect accent to the look. Fun yet baby proof.

Here is the look for less:

Okay more of this stuff please!! I am so clueless when it comes to how to dress! I also suffer from doughy middle syndrome, but sadly I don’t have a cute little baby to blame for it! (gained a serious 12 lbs over the last 3 months and it’s not wanting to come off without a fight. ) Anyways, my outfits need to be somewhat kid proof, or at least handle the beating that comes with kids. So yeah, this is perfect!! Keep the mommy fashion ideas coming!
